When you are a kid, your birthday is the best day of the year. It’s right up there with Half term. There’s nothing better than a birthday cake, presents, and getting to blow out some candles.
Or is there?
Yes, there is something better. Way better.
Welcome to the new frontier of birthday parties - Mission: Breakout. An escape room that goes beyond anything you ever thought possible. Give your kids a birthday they will never forget.
Don’t just have a birthday party, experience a birthday party with an escape room that will delight and challenge kids of all ages!
In many ways, an escape room is only as good as its story. It needs to be something that intrigues, something that is mysterious and exciting. The Ghost Tube Station has just such a story.
In 1907, the Ghost Tube Station opened its doors. However, very few people used the station, so it shut down in 1924. In the Second World War, it was used as an air raid shelter during the Blitz.
However, where things start getting interesting is in 1951, when a writer named John Betjeman told a story about the underground station in which a passenger got lost in the abandoned basement.
No one knows if that passenger ever escaped.
Your Turn
You have 60 minutes. Locked in the room, you must employ teamwork, ingenuity, creativity, and out of the box thinking to help you and your friends escape in time. The room is filled with mysterious clues, challenging puzzles, and crazy machines. What do they mean? How do they work? And how will they help you escape?
Now, it’s your turn - do you have what it takes? Can you escape from the underground station?
Fun at Every Level
Escape rooms are tons of fun for the whole family. Everyone can get involved and play a part. Teamwork is essential to success. Throughout the puzzles, clues, and challenges, each member of your team will have to use their determination and ingenuity to beat the clock and escape in time.
With Mission: Breakout, birthday parties are so much more than a celebration to put on the calendar. Instead, your child’s birthday will become an incredibly fun experience that will teach them valuable lessons at the same time!
Beyond fun, escape rooms have many practical benefits as well. On nearly every level, escape rooms help improve your communication skills. Since teamwork is so vital to completing your mission, you must find ways to communicate effectively while under pressure.
Another practical benefit of escape rooms is that they will help sharpen your attention to detail. You never know what tiny little clue might be hiding in the most normal looking object. Instead of glossing over unimportant looking things, you will have to take another, deeper look if you want to win!
Escape rooms are an active way to engage with your team, improve relationships, and try something new. Instead of sitting and staring at a screen for entertainment, you can get up, move around, get your heart racing, and reduce your stress levels. Sounds like a pretty good combination, doesn’t it?
Excitement, Challenge, Accomplishment
There are few better gift ideas than experiencing something new, exciting, and challenging and coming out on the other side with that amazing sense of accomplishment. Escape rooms combine all these elements in a new, fun activity that your kids will be talking about for a long time to come!
If you have a child with an upcoming birthday, it’s time to think outside of the box and try something new.
Normal birthday parties can’t compare to a Mission: Breakout birthday party.
Give your child an experience that is sure to be the highlight of their year!
